As a documentary and portrait photoghrapher I tell stories about artists and the music they create. Artists like Cut_, Weval, Samaris, Vök, and others. I translate their music into images.

What's the story of Vök? A year ago I started documenting this Icelandic band. Following them at home in Reykjavík and Hafnarfjördur. I joined them in the studio and on tour abroad and back home at Iceland Airwaves Festival. Capturing the soul of their songs. I feel their music when I walk around in the streets of Reykjavík, or out in the rough and empty landscapes. I feel Iceland when I'm back home in Holland listening to their music.
